Celebrity Style Swag Items for Vista Maria Girls Home
Entertainment marketing firm Celebrity Chitt is seeking product donations for Vista Maria, a shelter for girls in Dearborn Heights, Mich. Twenty-two gift bags will be created for the girls, ages 11-17 years old, who are abused (sexually, physically and mentally), runaways and foster children.
Terry Grahl of Enchanted Makeovers (formerly Terry’s Enchanted Cottage) enlisted the assistance of Celebrity Chitt in creating a celebrity style swag gift bag for the girls. There is no fee for participation. Participants will receive mentions in the press release and media contact regarding the gift bags, press release distribution and image of the gift-bag contents. Bonus distribution of the gift bags, as a token of thanks and appreciation, will go to three celebrity teens, including Miley Cyrus (”Hannah Montana”), Selena Gomez (”Wizards of Waverly Place”) and Keke Palmer (”True Jackson, VP”), and a possible media giveaway.
We are seeking products that will make the girls feel beautiful, loved, hopeful, spiritual, peaceful and worthy. All products are being accepted. We are seeking apparel, jewelry, shoes, books, makeup, loungewear, purses/bags/backpacks/totes, slippers, hair and skin products, accessories, electronics, etc. The only exception is razors. Razors must be electric. Any quantity product donation is appreciated, from a five-piece minimum to the entire 26 for all the girls and celebrities. No coupons. Gift certificates are OK as long as there is no minimum purchase required and they can be used in Michigan or online. The deadline is June 20.
A word from Terry Grahl of Enchanted Makeovers: Hopeful Haven Project at Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, Mich., was our first make-over project in 2007. We undertook the task of renovating the dorm where 30 women sleep. The project was a huge success and received many awards in 2008, including the United Way Heart of Gold Award, Magic 105.1’s Women Who Make Magic, Soroptimists Women Who Make A Difference and The Society of Decorating Professionals (SDP). The project was also featured in two national decorating magazines and a glimpse appearance on the “Oprah” show. Our 2008 project was a complete renovation of nine private bedrooms for the same shelter and will be featured in the February issue of Country Almanac.

Our labor, material and household items come from donations and volunteers, not only locally, but from all over the United States. Celebrity Chitt has been contacted by a celebrity to create a newborn baby-boy VIP gift collection. The gifts must *only* be the latest and greatest products and brands. If your company has an awesome product worthy of celebrity use, please e-mail an image and description immediately. Products sought include: diaper bags, slings, apparel, shoes, feeding sets, toys, car seats, high chairs, educational DVDs/CDs and more. Please make sure products are for baby and parents *only* — no pet items, household items, etc. A minimum of one product piece is required. Environmentally Friendly, Recycled, Organic and Green Products
Hollywood – Celebrities – Interviews and Green
Closet Cyclers, a new documentary focusing on Hollywood, celebrities and green products for a better environment, needs your brand for the show!
Celebrity Chitt has been enlisted to create the official green gift bags for the celebrities and VIPs who will be featured in the film. The documentary will feature interviews in Hollywood with celebrities: Mycole Metcalf, Jenny McCarthy, Kate Winslet and Daryl Hannah, just to name a few.
The celebrities wish to have green brands and products that they can wear and use during the filming. Womens, men and baby/children products are needed. Ideal products would be apparel, handbags, totes, hats, organic makeup, BPA free baby products, natural household cleansers, recycled items, etc. If you are unsure whether your product is a fit, please contact Celebrity Chitt for approval. In addition, a few companies will be selected for an interview spot in the documentary.
Each company must supply 30-35 pieces of product. The items will be received and used by the celebrities and VIPs in, during and after the filming of the documentary. A part of the documentary will also, be shot on Hollywood Blvd., where a “man on the street” will interview random people and give them a celebrity type swag bag filled with green products. Recipients of the gift bags will be contacted after the interview for feedback on the products they received. The goal is for the recipients to have time to test and try the brands and products, hoping they will change their behavior and use better products to better the environment. Contents of the green gift bags may be pictured, mentioned and/or listed in and throughout the documentary.

This in turn will be an addition to the already high unemployment status. More families will be unable to pay for daily necessities. Each ad will be comprised of several companies who will share the advertising expenses in order to gain exposure at a level that is presently not achievable due to costly rates. Therefore, we are able to cut costs and offer national advertising. Talk about getting MORE for LESS!
WHEN: Inclusion deadline is February 12th for the Spring Issue (Mar/Apr). We must have all contracts, graphics, web sites, product samples, payments, etc., NO LATER THAN February 12th. The issue will hit the stands around March 1st.
